Absence / Lates
If your child is going to be absent or late please call the office before school begins at 403-777-6790 to let us know. This will help us ensure all students are safe and that their attendance record will be accurate.
1. Press 1, and leave your message on the Attendance Line
2. Please let us know your child’s first and last name, teacher; and the reason for the absence.
Illness & Medical
Student medical forms must be completed for any student whose physical or medical information will affect attendance or if medication must be taken at school. If your child requires a medical form, please complete one and return it to the office in person or email it to tlpeterson@cbe.ab.ca.

Registration & Forms
School Volunteers - Reminder
To ensure the safety and security of all CBE students and staff, all volunteers must be registered with the school each school year before participating in volunteer activities. This can be done by completing an Annual Volunteer Registration Form.
The Annual Volunteer Registration Form is valid for the current school year only. All volunteers, including returning volunteers, must complete a new registration form each school year before participating in volunteer activities.
Parents and guardians can access the form through the SchoolEngage tab in their MyCBE account. Please Note: This must be your own account with your own email.
New this year! community members without a child in the system should be directed to the school where they wish to volunteer to complete their registration in person.
Yellow school bus riders (registration done every school year)
If your child will be taking the yellow school bus (fee for service) and you have not registered yet, please ensure you do this right away as you cannot ride the bus until you are registered and the paperwork is processed. This can take several weeks. Please register through your My CBE Account. For more information about transportation, please see https://cbe.ab.ca/schools/busing-and-transportation/Pages/default.aspx
If you have registered for the school bus but your child is not riding home on the school bus please let the office know as we do take attendance each day.

Lunch Supervision Registration
If your child will be staying at the school during the lunch hour, you will need to register for Lunch supervision. You can register and pay using your MyCBE/Powerschool account. Lunch supervision registration and fees will be posted to your account after September 2026.
Just a friendly reminder that students will need to bring their own spoons & forks with their snack and lunch as we only have a limited supply. Students DO NOT have access to hot water or microwaves.

Ramsay School Casino Fundraiser - Volunteer Sign-Up Now Open
Ramsay School has been assigned November 13 and 14, 2026 (Friday and Saturday) by the Alberta Gaming Commission (AGLC) for our Ramsay School Casino Fundraiser at Cowboys Casino.
In previous years, this fundraiser has generated over $70,000 for our school. These funds help support school events, programs, and our playground replacement project.
To make this event a success, we need to fill 66 volunteer shifts over the two days. We kindly ask that each family volunteer for one to two shifts per child whenever possible.

The most popular shifts fill up quickly, so please sign up as soon as possible. We especially need the following key positions filled by September 11, 2026:

- Cashier
- Count Room Supervisor
