Ramsay School Council supports the learning and well-being of Ramsay students; advises the Principal and Board of Trustees on school matters, ensures the parent/guardian perspective is presented in school decision-making and shares information about the school with the community. All parents and guardians of current Ramsay students are members, and invited to attend, participate, and vote at School Council meetings.

Every year we elect a School Council Executive consisting of a: Past Chair, Co-Chair, Secretary, and Members-at-Large. These are volunteer roles filled by parents or guardians of current students. We convene a meeting every month of the school year except December to which all Ramsay families are welcome. (The Ramsay School Parent Association (RSPA) is the other organization led by parent/guardian volunteers. RSPA raises all the funds to support the enriched and equitable learning environment at our school through activities like residencies, field trips, school supplies, and books for the Resource Centre. Ramsay School Council meets each month (exceptions noted) at 6:30 PM.

Meetings will be held at the School and on Microsoft Teams.
