Ramsay School T-shirts / Hoodies

 

Ramsay students have a strong sense of belonging within the school community. Our amazing School Council and Association support this by providing all of our NEW to Ramsay School students and staff with a Ramsay School T-Shirt. We encourage students to wear them with pride on field trips and special events!

If your child has outgrown their t-shirt or you would like to upgrade to a hoodie, now is your chance! Ramsay School T-shirts and hoodies are available to purchase for a short time, from September 22, 2023 until November 24, 2023 through your MyCBE account, just add the item to your cart. Unfortunately, size options are not available online so please email our office your requested size after you have completed your purchase. - Sorry we are not able to accept late orders

We will submit a bulk order with our vendor and you will be notified when your order is ready for pick up.

 

Demographic Verification, Consent to P&P, Consent to Media – DUE September 18, 2023

Each year, schools have a variety of forms that parents / legal guardians are required to complete or review and update, some of which are paper and others online. In CBE, the forms in an online format (SchoolEngage) are:

  • Demographic Verification - 2023-24 – This form includes your child’s personal information as well as parent / legal guardian contact information.
  • Citizenship Information Update - 2023-24 – This form becomes available if you change your child’s citizenship information on the Demographic Verification form.
  • Annual Authorization - 2023-24 – Combines the following forms:
    • School District Use of Personal Information - explains how CBE uses personal information in providing education services.
    • Consent for CBE Use of Student Information – provides an option to grant / not grant consent for additional use of student information by school/district and third parties.
    • Consent for Use of Student Information by News Media and Outside Groups (Third Party) - provides an option to grant / not grant consent for additional use of student information by outside groups and third parties

SchoolEngage is one of the applications found in your MyCBE account. This is the same account that you use to pay fees, view academic information, book school conferences, etc.

If you do not have a MyCBE account, on the MyCBE page click on Create a MyCBE Account. For online help refer, to MyCBE - Creating an Account (includes instructions and a video).

To complete these forms:

1 | sign in to your MyCBE account

2 | click on the SchoolEngage icon

3 | select the form

4 | complete or review and update the form

5 | click on Submit to send the form electronically to the school

6 | repeat steps 3-5 for each form

Please submit the Demographic Verification and Annual Authorization forms in SchoolEngage for your child by Monday, September 18.  These forms are mandatory every year for Alberta Education to confirm student funding.  Thank you for completing them.

 

Absence / Lates

If your child is going to be absent or late please call the office before school begins at 403-777-6790 to let us know. This will help us ensure all students are safe and that their attendance record will be accurate. Once you have reached the office:

1.    Press 1, and leave your message on the Attendance Line

2.    Please let us know your child’s first and last name, teacher; and the reason for the absence.

Attached you will find our Student Health Forms, if your child has a medical condition or requires medication to be stored at the school please complete the attached forms and return them to the office (only complete these forms if you require them). Medication can not be administered without approved health forms.

 

Registration & Forms

Yellow school bus riders (registration done every school year)

If your child will be taking the yellow school bus (fee for service) and you have not registered yet, please ensure you do this right away as you cannot ride the bus until you are registered and the paperwork is processed.  Please register through your My CBE Account.  For more information about transportation, please see https://cbe.ab.ca/schools/busing-and-transportation/Pages/default.aspx

If you have registered for the school bus but your child is not riding home on the school bus please let the office know as we do take attendance each day.

Lunch Supervision Registration

If your child will be staying at the school during the lunch hour, you will need to register for Lunch supervision. You can register and pay using your MyCBE/powerschool account. Lunch supervision registration and fees will be available after September 2023.

Just a friendly reminder that students will need to bring their own spoons & forks with their snack and lunch as we have a limited supply to give out.
