Open House – September 26
Please join us at our open house on Thursday from 6:00 - 7:00 pm at the school. This is a great opportunity to see the school, visit your child’s classroom and meet your child’s teacher. Please remember that this is not a good time to discuss your child’s individual learning or progress as Student Learning Conferences take place in November.
During the open house, drop by and say hi to members of your School Council Executive and Parent Association Board. At 7:05pm, prizes will be drawn for the Stampede Parking Fundraiser Volunteers!
Orange Shirt Day – September 25
Join us in honouring the enduring truth that EVERY CHILD MATTERS, every day and everywhere by wearing your Orange Shirt. By wearing on Orange Shirt, we are spreading a message of kindness, belonging, and connection to each other, to the land, and to our community.

Before and After School Supervision
Please remember that student supervision begins at 8:15 am each day. Students are welcome to enter the building to get ready for classes to begin at 8:27 am. Between 8:15 and 8:27 am, teachers are supervising inside their classrooms and the hallways. Students are encouraged to use this time to connect with friends and prepare for learning.
Students are dismissed at 3:00 pm (Monday to Thursday) and 12:41 pm (Friday). Kindergarten to Grade 3 teachers will accompany their students outside and will remain for approximately 5 minutes each day. After this time, parents are expected to supervise their own children if they wish to remain or play at the school.
Student Safety
To ensure the safety of all our students, please remember the following at the beginning and end of the day:
· No Student drop off or pick up in the staff parking lot.
· No stopping/parking in our bus zone. Please use designated parking areas or drop off zone.
· Please use crosswalks when crossing the streets.
Absence / Lates
If your child is going to be absent or late please call the office before school begins at 403-777-6790 to let us know. This will help us ensure all students are safe and that their attendance record will be accurate. Once you have reached the office:
1. Press 1, and leave your message on the Attendance Line
2. Please let us know your child’s first and last name, teacher; and the reason for the absence.
