Grade 4 Community Walk - 9:10 am - 12:15 pm

Grade 3 Community Walk - 1:15 - 2:45 pm

Open House / Meet the Teacher - 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm.

Please join us on Thursday evening for our annual Open House/Meet the Teacher. Doors will be open from 5:00 pm until 6:30 pm. This is a chance to see classrooms and meet teachers (no formal presentations).
Our School Council will be hosting an outdoor experience for families. There will be food trucks, outdoor activities, and music on the compound from 4:15 to 7:00 pm.

Absence / Lates

If your child is going to be absent or late please call the office before school begins at 403-777-6790 to let us know. This will help us ensure all students are safe and that their attendance record will be accurate.

1. Press 1, and leave your message on the Attendance Line

2. Please let us know your child’s first and last name, teacher; and the reason for the absence.

If you email your child's teacher regarding an absence, please cc the school office (ramsay@cbe.ab.ca) to ensure that everyone is aware.

Orange Shirt Day

Please join us on Tuesday, September 29 as we wear Orange to honor this day.

Wearing orange on Orange Shirt Day honors Survivors of residential schools, remembers the children who never returned home, and acknowledges the lasting impacts of residential schools on families and communities. The orange shirt is a symbol of the culture, language, identity, and freedom that were taken from Indigenous children, and a reminder that Every Child Matters.

School Council Meeting - October 1

Our first School Council meeting for the school year will be on October 1, 2026, at 6:30 pm. All parents are welcome to join us!

Agenda and June Minutes will be sent out next week.

Healthy Hunger - Fun Lunch/Fun Snack

Fun Lunch:

· available to Grades 1-6 students (no Kindergarten orders)

delivered to classrooms at the beginning of the eating portion of lunch

Fun Snack:

available to all students (K-6)
delivered to classrooms in the morning to be handed out by teachers
Students can enjoy their snack in the morning or take it home

Ramsay students have a strong sense of belonging within the school community. Our amazing School Council and Parent Association support this by providing all of our NEW to Ramsay School students and staff with a Ramsay School T-Shirt. We encourage students to wear them with pride on field trips and special events!

If your child has outgrown their t-shirt or you would like to upgrade to a hoodie, now is your chance! Ramsay School T-shirts and Hoodies are available to purchase for a short time, September 14 - October 31, 2026 through your MyCBE account, just add the item to your cart. Unfortunately, size options are no longer available online so please email our office with your requested size after you have completed your purchase.

Central School Fees

All 2026-2027 Central School Fees (Bus, Lunch Supervision and Student Supplies) will be activated, viewable and payable through your MyCBE account on October 15, 2026.
