Ramsay Weekly Bulletin – September 1 – 5, 2025

We really hope everyone had a wonderful, safe, and restful summer and is ready for a return to school. We are looking forward to seeing all the students.

Ramsay School will continue to email out weekly updates to families that contain upcoming events and important information.

Monday, September 1 – Labour Day – No School

Tuesday, September 2 – First Day of Classes - 8:43 am (8:30 soft entry)

- Teachers will be meeting the students outside their entry doors between 8:30 am and 8:43 am. and will be holding a sign with their name and grade.

- Please come in the front doors if you are running a little late.

Absence / Lates

If your child is going to be absent or late please call the office before school begins at 403-777-6790 to let us know. This will help us ensure all students are safe and that their attendance record will be accurate.

1. Press 1, and leave your message on the Attendance Line

2. Please let us know your child’s first and last name, teacher; and the reason for the absence.

Illness & Medical

Student medical forms must be completed for any student whose physical or medical information will affect attendance or if medication must be taken at school. If your child requires a medical form, please complete one and return it to the office in person or email it to tlpeterson@cbe.ab.ca. Link to Student Medical Forms

Registration & Forms

Yellow school bus riders (registration done every school year)

If your child will be taking the yellow school bus (fee for service) and you have not registered yet, please ensure you do this right away as you cannot ride the bus until you are registered and the paperwork is processed.  Please register through your My CBE Account. If you have registered for the school bus but your child is not riding home on the school bus please let the office know as we do take attendance each day.

Lunch Supervision Registration

If your child will be staying at the school during the lunch hour, you will need to register for Lunch supervision. You can register and pay using your MyCBE/Powerschool account. Lunch supervision registration and fees will be posted to your account after September 2025.

Just a friendly reminder that students will need to bring their own spoons & forks with their snack and lunch as we have a limited supply to give out. Students DO NOT have access to hot water or microwaves.
