Lice
As part of our ongoing efforts to support the health and well-being of our school community, we wanted to share a friendly reminder about head lice.
Head lice are common among school-aged children and can occur at any time of the year. They are not a reflection of personal hygiene or cleanliness, and they are easily spread through close head-to-head contact. We encourage families to check their children’s hair and scalp periodically and to seek treatment if lice are found. Early identification can help prevent further spread.
If you have any questions regarding the diagnosis and treatment of head lice, please call the Calgary Health Region at 403-943-5465 or visit Alberta Health Services.
Lost and Found
Please remind your child to check the lost and found regularly. All claimed items will be donated, unfortunately, we do not have the storage space to keep these items long term.
