School Planning Engagement
We are starting to plan our 2026-27 School year at Ramsay School. At our March School Council Meeting, we shared information and heard feedback about School Development Planning and School Budgets/Fees. If you were unable to make the meeting, the presentation can be found on our website under School Planning Engagement.
Student Learning Conferences
Student Learning Conferences are an opportunity for parents and guardians to speak to teachers about their child’s current achievement and progress, along with programming information. Student Learning Conferences will be available both online and in-person. Please book your conferences through your MyCBE account. The conference manager opens to families on March 11 at 4:00 pm.
- Kindergarten Conferences – Thursday, March 19, 2026 – 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
- Grade 1 – 6 Conferences – Thursday, March 19, 2026 – 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
- Grade 1 – 6 Conferences – Friday, March 20, 2026 – 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
This year, during our March Student Learning Conferences, some families may be impacted by their celebration of Eid al-Fitr. Please contact your child’s teacher if you cannot attend conferences due to this special time.
Scholastic Book Fair
March 9 - 13 The Scholastic Book Fair Flyer will come home this week, and students are able to make a Book Fair wish list.
March 16 - Student Viewing (Students will come with their classes to look at the books available. Students will bring home information for parents at this time)
March 17 - Student Sales (Students will come with their classes to make a purchase)
March 18 - 20 - Student and Parent Sales
- Students may bring money/payment to purchase books at the book fair. Acceptable payment methods are cash, debit or credit (Visa/Mastercard/Applepay). Students will connect with their teachers to arrange a time to go to the book fair to make purchases.
- Parents are welcome to come to the book fair: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm; 1:15 pm -2:30 pm to make a purchase on Wednesday or Thursday. Please note: students will not be able to leave class to accompany parents at this time.
The book Fair will remain open during our Student Learning conferences:
· Thursday 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
· Friday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
We are still short of volunteers and could use your support for the following:
· Tuesday - 8:30-noon (1 volunteer)
· Tuesday 1-3 pm (2 volunteers)
· Thursday 5:30-7:30 pm (1 volunteer)
· Friday 10-noon (1 volunteer)
· Friday noon-1 pm (3 volunteers Fair take down)
