Grade 6 Provincial Achievement Tests (PAT’s) | June 2026

In May and June of this year, Grade 6 and 9 students across the province will participate in the Provincial Achievement Tests (PATs) using the Digital Assessment Platform (Vretta).

Ramsay School is implementing the new Grade 6 Social Studies curriculum this year. Therefore, we will not be administering the Grade 6 Social Studies PAT in 2025-26.  Grade 6 Math, English Language Arts and Literature (ELAL), Science will be administered and will reflect the new curriculum.

A Quick Facts for Parents/Guardians is available on the Provincial Achievement Tests (https://www.alberta.ca/provincial-achievement-tests) website.

PAT Dates can be found on our School Calendar.

Bell Let's Talk Day | January 21, 2026

Bell Let’s Talk Day on January 21st is dedicated to mental health awareness, acceptance and action. The theme of Bell Let’s Talk Day 2026 is taking a moment for mental health. Canadians will be encouraged to prioritize mental health and give mental health the moment it deserves:

  • Moments to take care of and be in tune with your own mental health
  • Moments to reach out to those around you, caring for their mental health
  • Moments to recognize the societal importance of mental health, which can take many forms – from flag raisings, school assemblies, sharing personal stories, to learning and listening

Visit Bell Let’s Talk for more information.
