Inclement Weather

Students will be going outside for recess and lunch in most conditions (this includes light rain/snow). CBE Guidelines recommend that students remain inside only when the temperature reaches -20 Celsius or colder. We are unable to provide separate indoor supervision for students not dressed for the weather or who are ill. If students are too sick to bundle up and go outside then they should not be at school. Please see our webpage for more information:  Cold Weather Days

Absence / Lates

If your child is going to be absent or late please call the office before school begins at 403-777-6790 to let us know. This will help us ensure all students are safe and that their attendance record will be accurate. Once you have reached the office:

1.    Press 1, and leave your message on the Attendance Line

2.    Please let us know your child’s first and last name, teacher; and the reason for the absence.

Wear PINK to show your support for welcoming, caring, respectful, safe, and inclusive school communities by wearing a pink shirt. It is a day to encourage everyone to stand up to bullying when they see it in schools, communities, workplaces, at home and online. This day gives us an opportunity to be kind, and lift each other up. Building healthy relationships is one of the best ways to prevent bullying and create safe environments.                                                                                                   29 – School Council Skating Social – see news story
