Ramsay School has been part of Calgary’s inner city for more than a century — and it continues to thrive in the heart of historic Ramsay.

Named after W.T. Ramsay, a Scottish-born surveyor who helped shape the neighbourhood in the early 1900s, the school is surrounded by streets named after his children — a lasting tribute to family and community roots.

Today, Ramsay School blends history, heart and high expectations. From curious classrooms to a commitment to reconciliation, this K–6 school helps students grow into engaged citizens ready to shape the future.
