Save the Date: Scholastic Book Fair

Mark you calendars! The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Ramsay School May 13 – 16, 2024

Volunteers are needed to make the Book Fair run smoothly. If you are able to volunteer for any of the times listed below please reach out to Ms. Haydu, our School Librarian at lshaydu@cbe.ab.ca

Volunteer’s needed for these times

Friday May 10th - 2-3 volunteers - 9:00am-Noon. (Book Fair set up)

Tuesday May 14st - 2 volunteers - 8:30-Noon & 2 volunteers - 1:00-3:00PM (1 volunteer to help supervise and 1 to help with sales in each block)

Thursday May 16th -2 volunteers - 6:00-7:30pm Celebration of Learning ((1 volunteer to help supervise and 1 to help with sales)

Friday May 17th –No School for students - 4 Volunteers to come for about 2 hours (Book Fair takedown, put tables away and bring Instruments back in.)

Student Safety

To help us ensure all students are safe arriving and departing school, please remember the following:

Use crosswalks when crossing the street.
Absolutely NO Drop off or Pick up in the Staff Parking lot.
No Parking in the bus zones or Staff Parking Lot. Please follow street signage for available parking around the school.

Absence / Lates

If your child is going to be absent or late please call the office before school begins at 403-777-6790 to let us know. Leaving email messages are great but don’t always get to the right person in a timely manner. This will help us ensure all students are safe and that their attendance record will be accurate.
